Illustration Friday 80's

Chicago born, 80's icon, Mr. T. Misterhow, respects mistert.
The second sketch, orange Prang Fun Pro marker on yellow card stock.
The first sketches. I was going to have this sequence where the kid would hand T the mix tape, but abandoned it.

Love the first sketch.
I always preferred blank tapes that were held together by screws vs the glue. It allowed me to record my favorite song at the beginning, take the cassette apart, then splice the tape short and record another song of equal length on the other side. My auto-reverse deck would then give me a double-song-auto-repeat.
80's version of a playlist.
My first realization of my preference of direct vs. sequential access.
I digress.
