Here is my illustration for this week's illustrationfriday prompt RESOLVE

Too pushy?

Although a very successful salesman, John had a handshake problem. Hard and heavy, they started with a wind-up. Up, down, shake, shake and a little sideways turn was always there too. He held on just a little too long too. John's resolution: professional, not weird.

Dorothy's Balloon

Flying monkeys, friendly witches, Emerald city, ruby slippers, little people. Great descriptors abound. Was it a dream, a nightmare, or just some of Auntie Em's roast beast causing indigestion? Either way, the story was a good one.

Here is my illustration for this week's illustrationfriday prompt WISE

Gordon Wise

I had Gordon wise for Drawing 1 in my first summer semester in college. His instruction was my first taste of teacher-as-facilitator. I remember drawing--lots of drawing. Armed with a big drawing pad and an 18" ruler, I practiced and practiced. What an appropriate last name for an inspirational figure. I admired his patience, care, and love for fast cars.
